Well it been a bust few weeks with both GMP built cars hitting the track. Both cars have performed brilliant with only a few little tweeks needed to both to make sure they are ready for the first meeting which is the Rockingham 3 hrs.
We have also been building a 3rd car which will debut at Rockingham in May.

Over the last two weekends we have ventured to Snetterton and to Rockingham - The Snetterton test was wet from start to finish, this was the cars first outing and performed well all day and to top it off was great fun.
The test day was at Rockingham and we benefitted from a dry warm track all day, we ran 5 different drivers throughout the day which gave us great feedback on how the car performs and any improvements to be made.
Next up is the C1 test day at Rockingham.

As you will see from the photos we have had a rather large delivery from our good friends at QSP, the have supplied us with all of the service items for the C1's including new radiators, clutch's, bearings. This is a huge help to the team and will ensure the cars are prepared to the highest standard at every event. Check out the Quickco QSP website www.quickco.co.uk/qsp
So as you can see we have the club kits - we have received both kits and we are just waiting for the roll cages to arrive. The club kit consists of wishbones, track rod extensions, extended driveshafts, fuel tank guard, and brake pipe guard. These have all now been fitted to car 1 along with the HEL performance braided brake lines.
There are a number of jobs that we need to do to the C1's before they hit the track and one of them is to change the clutch and inspect the flywheels. On Saturday we set about removing the engine and box as one unit so we could then at the same time paint the engine bay. Once we removed the engine and gearbox we changed the clutch painted all the areas that were red and refitted. Next on the list is to start fitting the club spec items such as modified wishbones.
